🎓 Academic Year Begins August 1
The academic session for first-year undergraduate students is all set to begin on August 1, 2025. However, concerns have been raised by faculty members regarding unresolved syllabus issues in some postgraduate and the newly introduced Fourth Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) courses.
Despite the Executive Council’s approvals on May 23 and July 12, many teachers claim they have not received final clarity on the revised syllabus, creating uncertainty just days before the semester starts.
This batch will also mark the first-ever group of students to enter the fourth year under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF)—a flagship reform under the National Education Policy (NEP).
📌 Final Thoughts
As the Delhi University CSAS-UG admission cycle enters its second phase, thousands of aspirants await hopeful news about moving to their preferred colleges or courses. With the academic year on the horizon, all eyes remain on the university’s ability to manage both student expectations and internal academic preparedness efficiently.
