CLAT 2026 examination will be held in December 2025.
- The CLAT 2026 exam will tentatively be conducted in the first week of December 2025
- Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations can apply for the CLAT Exam.
- Candidates taking their Class 12 exam in March/April 2025 are also eligible to take the CLAT exam 2025.
- These candidates must demonstrate that they have passed their Class 12 exam at the time of admission.
- Candidates who do not meet this requirement will lose their right to take the CLAT exam.
- There is no upper age limit to apply for the CLAT exam.
- 45% marks for General/ Other Backward Class (OBC)/ Specially abled persons categories
- 40% marks for Scheduled Class (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories

All About SLAT Exam
What is SLAT?
SLAT, or Symbiosis Law Admission Test, is an entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to undergraduate law programs, including BA LLB and BBA LLB courses. The exam is held annually and is an essential step for candidates seeking admission to the Symbiosis Law School (SLS) campuses in Pune, Noida, and Hyderabad.
SLAT Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates should be below 20 years of age as of May 2025 (for general category students) and 22 years for reserved category students.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or should be appearing for their Class 12 examination from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST candidates).
