ICAI CA Exam 2025: Revised Dates Announced, Exams to be Held from May 16 to May 24

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially revised the examination dates for the CA May 2025 session. Due to earlier security concerns in the country, the exams were postponed. As per the latest notification, the CA exams will now be held from May 16 to May 24, 2025, replacing the previously scheduled window of May 9 to May 14, 2025.

CA Foundation Exam – No Change in Dates

The CA Foundation Examination will proceed as originally planned on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025. These dates remain unaffected by the recent schedule update.

Revised Schedule for CA Final, Intermediate & INTT-AT Exams

In light of improving national security conditions, ICAI has rescheduled the following exams:

CA Final (Group II) & INTT–AT:

• Paper 5 (Indirect Tax Laws / International Tax – Transfer Pricing):
  🔄 Rescheduled from May 10 (Saturday) to May 16 (Friday)
• Paper 6 (Integrated Business Solutions / International Tax – Practice):
  🔄 Rescheduled from May 13 (Tuesday) to May 18 (Sunday)

CA Intermediate (Group II):

• Paper 4 (Cost & Management Accounting):
  🔄 Rescheduled from May 9 (Friday) to May 20 (Tuesday)
• Paper 5 (Auditing & Ethics):
  🔄 Rescheduled from May 11 (Sunday) to May 22 (Thursday)
• Paper 6 (Financial Management & Strategic Management):
  🔄 Rescheduled from May 14 (Wednesday) to May 24 (Saturday)

Key Guidelines for CA Exam Candidates

• Exam Timings: All papers will be conducted at the same examination centres from 2 PM to 5 PM IST or 2 PM to 6 PM IST, depending on the paper.
• Admit Cards: Previously issued admit cards will remain valid for the new dates.
• Public Holidays: There will be no changes to the schedule even if any exam day is declared a public or local holiday.
