Javadekar calls criticism of EIA a “unnecessary protest”

Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said on Monday that some critics of the proposed Environmental Impact Statement (EIA 2020) opinion were engaging to unnecessary protests.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated a 2,312 km fiber optic submarine cable connecting Port Blair to Andaman and Nicobar to Chennai.
