With Rajasthan’s political crisis continuing for the ninth day, Avinash Pande, the observer of the Rajasthan from All-India Congress Committee (AICC), said the party would decide on ‘merit’ if some rebel MPs want to return to Congress, the Congress General Secretary said that the Prime Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, is fully ready to demonstrate his strength to the Assembly and that his government will complete its 5 year term. However, Pande declined to say whether Congress would attempt to contact former Rajasthan Congressman Sachin Pilot. The party is now awaiting the decision of the High Court of Rajasthan, which will rule on the challenge of Pilot and other dissident MPs.

said a Ministry release.
